Mission Ministry Purpose
The purpose
of our ministry is to educate our church body about the cooperative program,
support missional ministries through our church, and share the gospel in our
community, our nation and around the world.
We accomplish this in several ways through monthly and special called
offerings to support the Cooperative Program, through our own missional
ministries, and through ministries of the Women’s Missionary Union, North
American Missions Board and the International Missions Boards.
Our missions ministry follows the objectives laid out by the Women’s Missionary Union.
WMU objectives:

Pray
for Missions
2.
Engage
Mission Action and Witnessing
3.
Learn
about Missions
4.
Develop
spiritually towards a missions lifestyle
5.
Participate
in the work of the church and denomination
Our Goals for Foxworthy:
1.
Work
to educate our church family about the cooperative program within our
denomination.
2.
Help
our members to understand the role of missions here at Foxworthy.
3.
Develop
teams of people who are willing to serve long term and short term on the
mission ministry.

Determine
what you would like to help with, it is locally here at our church or
community, or is it more on a global scale.
